About

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Bilkent University. My research is in finite group theory, in particular fusion systems and the local structure of finite groups, coprime actions, and, more recently, skew braces.

I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics from Middle East Technical University (METU) in 2018 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Gülin Ercan. Before joining the faculty at Bilkent in 2024, I held postdoctoral positions at Bilkent University, METU and Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, and served as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Bilkent University.

Computational tools: GAP (Groups, Algorithms, Programming), Python.
